Round-up: The League 1 action today saw nine out of the eleven scheduled games take place, as two were postponed due to adverse weather, which were: Lincoln City v Bolton Wanderers Tranmere Rovers v Doncaster Rovers In the action that did take place today, Ipswich Town moved back to the top of the league table as they recorded a 3-1 win away to Southend United in Sol Campbell's first match in charge of the hosts. James Norwood's brace either side of half-time gave Ipswich a 2-goal lead thanks to goals in the 8th and 70th minute. Kayden Jackson then made it 3-0 with his 76th minute goal, before Emile Acquah bagged a scant consolation seven minutes from time. The fact that Ipswich moved to the top of the table was largely helped by the fact that Peterborough United were held to a 2-2 draw by Coventry City. Coventry took the lead inside only 12 minutes thanks to a goal from Amadou Bakayoko . Marcus Maddison then equalised for Peterborough thanks to a 52nd minute penalty, before Maxime Biamou scored what seemed to be the winning goal five minutes from time for Coventry. However, Mo Eisa scored in the 90th minute to salvage a point for Peterborough and deny Coventry their first away win of the season. Also leapfrogging Peterborough in the table were Wycombe Wanderers, who recorded a slender 1-0 victory away to Rotherham United thanks to a 5th minute goal from Scott Kashket. Oxford United continued their impressive form this season, as they recorded a 3-0 win to end a run of three successive wins for Rochdale thanks to goals from Josh Ruffels, Tariqe Fosu and Sam Long, whilst Rochdale were reduced to 10 men as the experienced Aaron Wilbraham was shown a straight red card. Another team who have made an impressive start to this campaign are Fleetwood Town, and they continued that as they recorded a slender 1-0 win at home to struggling Milton Keynes Dons thanks to an 85th minute goal from Ched Evans. Shrewsbury Town extended their unbeaten league run to four successive matches, as they inflicted a second defeat in three matches on new Sunderland manager Phil Parkinson thanks to Jason Cummings' 22nd minute goal for Shrewsbury. Gillingham recorded their first league victory since the early part of this month, as they recorded a 1-0 triumph away to Accrington Stanley thanks to a goal from Regan Charles-Cook. The comeback of the day in this division came in Bristol, as Bristol Rovers came from 2 goals down to draw 2-2 at home to Portsmouth. Portsmouth raced into a 2-goal lead thanks to a Gareth Evans penalty followed by a goal from Ronan Curtis, before Alex Rodnan scored 12 minutes from time to half the deficit. It seemed as though Portsmouth would hold on for the victory, before a 90th minute own goal from Craig MacGillivray meant both sides had to take a share of the spoils. Burton Albion and Blackpool also had to take a share of the spoils, as the two sides played out a goalless draw.
