Red Bull announce junior team line-up

Red Bull Racing have announced their junior programme line-up for the 2018 season, with two drivers - Niko Kari and Richard Verschoor being dropped from last season. Dan Ticktum will remain with the team and will be competing in the Formula 3 European Championship for the 2018 season, whilst the other remaining driver, Neil Verhagen, will be competing once again in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 for the 2018 season.

Red Bull have added two drivers who will both be competing in the British Formula 4 Championship for 2018, aged just 14-years old (both were born in 2003) and will be making their debut in single-seater racing. These are Jack Doohan, son of Australian motorcycle road racing World Champion Mick Doohan, finished third in the 2017 CIK-FIA European Junior Championship and Norwegian Dennis Hauger, who won the 2017 German Championship DKM OK Senior Class, and both will be with Arden International (a racing team which has links to Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner).

They (Red Bull) have also added two drivers who will be competing in karting for 2018, British driver Jonny Edgar (aged just 13, born in who won the 2017 OK-Junior European Championship and will be competing in the OK-Senior karting category for 2018, whilst Harry Thompson (also British) will be competing in the OK class (the top level of CIK-FIA karting categories).
